Some restaurants just aren’t built the same. Most are places to eat, drink and just enjoy the scene around you. This place is all that and much more. I’m talking about Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs in Kissimmee Florida.
In the middle of all the glitz and glamour of what is Disney, Morimoto Asia puts on a show of it’s own. Nestled almost in the center of Disney’s shopping village lies a restaurant of Asian fusion cousine like no other. From the mind of one of the great chefs of today, Masaharu Morimoto displays what mixing old style asian recipes with modern taste palets should be.
At the moment of being greeted by the colosol entrance displaying Morimoto’s name to the last bite of your desert, your experience will leave you wanting to visit again and again.
On our visit, we were taking advantage of Central Florida’s Magical Dining Experiance which enlists over 100 different restaurants who will give you a three course dinner on a pre-fixed menu for $35 per person. They have about 3 to 4 items for the appetizers, entrees and deserts to choose from. This is a great way to visit many restaurants that you usually wouldn’t because of price.
Our choices for our meal was, for Ana, Kung Pao Chicken Dumpling, Chinese Style Crispy Berkshire Pork Belly and Spiced Valrohna Chocolate Tarte. And for me, I chose Soft Shell Crab Tempura, Hunan Style Lamb Shank and finished with Lychee and Mango Cheesecake.
All I can say is, “Ohhhh, so good”!
