We were finally able to take one of Disney’s behind the scenes tour and the one we chose was “Caring For The Giants” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We didn’t know what to expect but what we received was a tour as great as the giants that we were able to see up close.
It started with a short bus ride to a location where only cast members are allowed to access. As we climbed the stairs, what we saw at the end was so majestic and beautiful, a herd of elephants quietly strolling the grounds. Some were eating, some were staring at the tour buses passing along through the savanna and others were throwing dirt around in a playful manner.
Disney has many behind the scenes tours that they offer but this one is truly a site to see. Knowing what Disney is doing to help the animals of the world and also sharing this with the public is definitely worth the wait and price. We recommend this tour for all animal lovers and anyone else who appreciates what Disney is all about.
